With the extended holiday weekend, folks round these parts thought it would be peachy to throw together a game on this upcoming Monday (Martin Luther King Jr Day). So let's make with the brother/sisterhood and get to a field:
Time: 1pm til people can't stand the sight of a disc in their hand.
Location: Here's the tricky bit. As usual with these holiday pickup days, we like to try and get special locations in and around the Tacoma area. The Tacoma Dome evidently is unavailable, so we're looking at hosting at the fine Mason Middle School turf field. Cross streets are N. 27th and Mason/Proctor. If perchance the turf field is occupied, we'll move the show over to the Professional Development Center field.
Bring a white, a dark, and whatever other accouterments to a fine days ultimate that you can think of. As per previous posts, use the options at the bottom (Definitely, Definitely Not, Maybe) to specify your status, which should help us get a feel for how many folks will be out (especially given the short notice).

If turf is occupied I suggest Todd field at UPS. It's really soft.
I think an mass email might be of use, josh, do you have access to feinstein's list?
I don't have the knowledge/ability on how to send a mass e-mail from the Feinstein list, but I sent out some spam to all the indoor folks. Not sure if I'll be out or not. I'm gimpy. Shocking, I know.
Gimpier than usual, Jerry? :-) I'll likely lug Campbell along, too. He who said today, "Hmmm, I'm sore and I don't know why." Oh and some kind of sweet treat, as if two Flewellings wasn't enough ha ha haaaa

i think todd would be a better 2nd option.
Some people actually have to work today.
todd would be way better than PDC. That place sucks. And some of the more lazy ups kids would come if all they had to do was walk to campus.
Regardless of second choice, first will still be over at Mason Middle School. Todd does sound like a better alternative in case of occupancy. If Mason is occupied and you're unsure of how to get to Todd field, feel free to call me for directions.
